Maria R. Cochran MD

Dr. Maria R. Cochran Perez studied Biology Biomedical at the Universidad de Puerto Rico in Ponce, Puerto Rico and graduated in 2010. She then studied medicine at the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in Mexico, and she received her doctor's degree in 2016. She did a Transitional Year Residency at Hospital Damas in Ponce in 2017. She then joined the Department of Research and Development at VA Caribbean Healthcare System in San Juan, Puerto Rico in 2018 in which she worked in the Introductory Research Program of VA in the Cardiology Department. In 2019 she began the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Universidad Central del Caribe in Bayamon, Puerto Rico and currently she is a second-year resident.
